Dell Optiplex 780 and PING 3.01

I've been using 3.00.04 to backup my Optiplex 780 desktops for months without a problem. I burned a copy of the new 3.01 and I'm not having as much luck. The problem is with the onboard NIC as I cannot get it to attain an IP address via DHCP. When I put 3.00.04 in the machine it works everytime. Any idea what is different about the NIC drivers in 3.01? The machines have an onboard Intel 82567LM-3 Gigabit NIC.
