Blocking: apps selection + apps download not working

Postby gci » Fri Jan 11, 2008 1:11 am

Hi,
I have 2 big problems which prevent me from using this software:

1) when I'm in the apps selection, i just want to uncheck all of them. I do this page per page, total download size shown first reaches the 0 (but there are still some apps selected), then as i uncheck other apps, it becames nonzero.
If i click next apps when i'm in the last page of application, i see that some apps i've previously disabled are enabled again.

2) sometimes download of apps hangs, it keeps saying 1k/sec and the process won't proceed

Anyone with these problems?
Is there a text file where i can disable by hand apps?

I have the exact problem (1), and its kind of annoying and time consuming because I don't really want any extra apps right now, I just want to test out a base install.

When you do finish the downloads do not delete that directory so it will not have to download them again. When the computer goes to install them just hit cancel. I know this is annoying, but this project has been shadowed by the PING project and not a lot of work is being put toward it right now. If you can use PING and sysprep, you may get better results :D

Thank you so much for the quick reply. I didn't bother checking to see what the PING project entailed until you mentioned it. It sounds like just what I need. Thanks again =)

PING has been the answer for many people which is why this project has not been developed much :D
