Could not find kernel image: kernel

I love this project! No seriously I do!
I finally the generator to work, and received the coveted:

ALL DONE, ENJOY! Burn [C:\DVD Angel\DVD.iso]

So I brought up my virtual pc, plugged it in and now I receive the following output:

ISOLINUX 3.36 2007-02-10 Copyright © 1994-2007 Peter Anvin
Could not find kernel image: kernel
Boot:

Under IsoBuster I find under the bootable disk, BootCatalog.cat and BootImage.img both about 2 kb

My machine: hp Compaq dc 7800 2 GHz processor 2 Gb ram Winxp Pro sp3
Any Ideas?

The only time I used the DVD Gen I used WINNER to deploy the image. Never tried the DVD so I cannot tell you what is wrong. I expect that you maybe able to add the nessarry files and use the PING How-To to re-create the disk. Also if you are going through that much trouble I would consider using the kernel file from PING as it is much newer with more support.

I am new here and i am having the same issue with a dell latitude E5410, running windows 7. I wonder if there was ever a fix for this. I follow the documention, use the kernel that tis posted.

Hey guys,

I found out what the issue was. I removed the .txt from the kernel and everything worked fine. The kernel file does not need and extension.

Hopefully that will help you guy.
