Hello,
Thanks for the wonderful tool, I've been using it for about a year on my laptop and it's saved me a ton of time by doing about three restores in that time period. That laptop only has a single drive with a single partition on it, and it's small, so I just image the entire thing.
However, I have a question...
I've got a brand new PC that I want to use PING with. My hope is to partition the 1T boot drive into two parts: (#1) one partition will be the boot partition and will be somewhat small, say 200 gigs, and (#2) then the other partition will be the rest of the 800 gigs left on the drive.
Then I was hoping to use PING to image the first boot partition #1 (with my OS and apps and whatnot) but to NOT image the second partition #2 which would just have files on it that are already backed up via a different mechanism/approach. The idea here is to have a smaller partition #1 with my boot/OS for easy restoration if I get infected, etc. and to be able to restore that partition without touching the other partition on the same drive #2.
Is this possible with PING?
